Update of Mailing, Rights and Email address
If you are a registered user of CDP Internet Access, you can update it online.
Or you can complete the form and post it to us. Remember to put your signature on the form as we'll proceed with the update once your signature matches our records.
You can also submit your update request through your stockbroking company or at our customer service counters.
Please note the additional requirements for the following updates:
- For Corporate account, at least 2 authorized signatories of the company registered with CDP must sign on the request form with affixation of company stamp.
- For request to change mailing address to PO Box address.
- Individual/Joint account
Residential address must be provided. Certified true copy of IC must be furnished to evidence the residential addressed provided.
- Corporate account
Registered address must be provided. Certified true copy of ACRA instant printout that is less than 2 weeks old must be furnished to evidence the registered address provided. The ACRA instant printout has to be certified true copy on every page by either one director or the company secretary.
The signatures of certifying director or company secretary must be maintained with CDP, and their names and signatures must be affixed on all copies of document.
- For thumbprint operated account, the right thumbprint of the account holder must be affixed on the update form. Affixation of thumbprint must be witnessed and a certified true copy of IC/Passport must be furnished to support the request.
- CDP do not accept post dated update requests.
- All alterations on update form have to be counter-signed by account holder or at least 2 authorized signatories for corporate account holder with name, designation and affixation of company stamp. Requests with more than 3 alterations will be rejected and a new form has to be filled for submission.
- If account holder wishes to use stockbroking company’s address as mailing and/or rights address, a letter of undertaking duly signed by 2 authorized signatories of stockbroking company with their names indicated and affixation of company stamp has to be submitted. All authorities who witness and/or certify documents must be recognized and authenticated by CDP. In addition, the signature affixed on request forms has to match with CDP record before update will be processed. For a list of certifiable authority, please click here
